Meet Frosty, a sweet, affectionate 1-year-old mixed-breed dog weighing about 36 pounds. He is fully grown, playful, loving, and eager to be part of a family.
Frosty gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children. He is submissive with other dogs and would do best with gentle, respectful canine companions. He loves soft beds, toys, adventures, and relaxing with his people. He could thrive in many types of homes, including as the only dog or with another gentle dog.
Frosty was rescued in South Texas in very poor condition after suffering severe neglect. After months of recovery, he has gained weight, his coat has grown back beautifully, and his trusting, happy personality has emerged.
Ideal Home
Frosty would love a home with a backyard and children to play with, but he is adaptable. He can live as the only dog or with a gentle, respectful canine companion. He is wonderful with children and cats.
Ongoing Health
Frosty is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and deworming. He will receive a veterinary health clearance before adoption.
Training & Support
Frosty is crate trained, house trained, and great on a leash. He is playful, relaxed, affectionate, and happy to go on adventures or curl up with his people. His favorite food is chicken nuggets.
