Elena is a dream girl! She is likely a Black Mouth Cur mix with sugar, spice, and everything nice. She is extremely loyal and loves cuddles from her people. She likes to "nose butt" your arm for attention and absolutely adores squeaky toys. She will also stare at you with her gorgeous, soft eyes, begging for a scratch or a kiss.

Ideal Home

Elena is house-trained, crate-trained, and good with other animals and children. She gets along well with the six dogs and one cat in her foster home. However, she can become territorial in a new environment with other dogs, so an experienced dog owner or a home as an only dog would be ideal. She can coexist with other dogs as long as she knows who the boss is.

Ongoing Health

Elena is in good health.

Training & Support

Elena knows how to sit and waits for her food until told "go ahead." She loves children and is comfortable with even the smallest ones hugging her.
