Potro

Potro is a wonderful boy who is just waiting for his forever family to find him! He absolutely adores all people and has shown great progress with his leash manners, though he is still a strong boy. Potro enjoys the company of female dogs and is even doing well with confident kitties. He's met some small male dogs and has done well, and he's a hit at the dog park! While he can be a bit reactive to other dogs on walks, he easily redirects with his foster. Potro is a devoted shadow and loves to cuddle. He's comfortable being left alone for periods and does well with his foster's parents. Although he's not crated often anymore, having one available in his new home would be a good idea as he adjusts.

Ideal Home

Potro would do best in a home with older children, if any. He also needs a home without birds of any kind. He is contained by a 4' fence but has been known to explore if there are any gaps!

Ongoing Health

Potro is a healthy boy.

Training & Support

Potro is working on his leash reactivity and can be a strong puller. He would benefit from continued leash work, potentially with a harness, and sessions with a behaviorist. A crate can be helpful for him as he settles into a new environment.
