Meet Molly!
Molly is a beautiful 6-year-old German Shepherd–St. Bernard mix with a big heart and a loyal spirit. She is calm and gentle at home, loving to relax nearby or quietly follow you from room to room. Once outside, her playful and adventurous side shines through as she loves to run, explore, and take in all the sights and smells around her. Molly is deeply devoted and protective of her people, the kind of companion who will always have your back. She had a tough start to life, being sold too early and likely coming from a stressful environment, which means she missed out on learning some early dog-to-dog social cues. Despite this, she's incredibly intelligent and full of love, but needs patience, understanding, and a calm, stable environment. Loud noises and too much excitement can make Molly anxious, and she can snap when she feels afraid or threatened, so a peaceful home without children or other pets, with an experienced adopter who understands sensitive, loyal dogs, is a must. She can be a little uncertain at first, sometimes changing her mind about wanting pets, but with time and trust, she forms deep bonds and shows her true, affectionate self. Molly is also leash-reactive, so a fully fenced yard would be ideal for her to run and burn off energy safely. She absolutely loves adventures up north, exploring the woods, and breathing in the fresh air.
