Peggy

Peggy is a 3-year-old, 66-pound female who was left behind when her owner moved. She was previously living with two small dogs. Peggy is currently very timid and scared, but she is warming up quickly to our staff and seems to be adjusting well to her new surroundings.

Ideal Home

A home where Peggy can feel safe and secure is a must. A meet and greet is required if you have another dog to ensure they can be good companions.

Ongoing Health

Peggy has tested positive for heartworm. The shelter will cover the cost of her treatment, so she will be healthy and ready for her forever home.

Training & Support

As Peggy is timid and scared, she will need patience and understanding as she continues to adjust and build her confidence.

Peggy is currently located at the Humane Society of Highlands County in Sebring, FL. Transport may be available to approved adopters.
