Toffee

Toffee is a 9-month-old, 40 lb mixed breed, possibly a Vizsla mix, with the softest eyes and the sweetest soul. She's a happy, playful, and affectionate girl at home who loves romping with other dogs and then settling in for cozy cuddle time. Toffee is dog and cat friendly, house-trained, and crate-trained. She thrives in a predictable home environment. While Toffee can be timid in new environments, she has made great strides in building her confidence with patience and encouragement. She's learning to love the outside world and all the adventures it holds.

Ideal Home

Toffee would do best in a home with a confident, well-adjusted adult dog. She needs a patient and understanding family willing to continue building her confidence. A home with children 10 years or older who are dog-savvy would be ideal. Toffee is not comfortable around small dogs or puppies, so a home without them is preferred.

Ongoing Health

Toffee experienced fear of car rides, but with desensitization work, she now willingly gets in the car, knowing it leads to adventure. She may drool during travel but recovers quickly upon arrival.

Training & Support

Toffee is house and crate trained. She may be timid in new situations, so continued patience and encouragement will be key to helping her build confidence.
