"Regardless of her physical condition/environment, she shines her light."
"Likely used for backyard breeding or discarded as a street dog."
"She is a lovey-dovey, and will warm both your heart & soul."
Princess is a delightful girl about 4 years old, weighing in at 55-60 lbs. Her "before" pictures show her looking skinny, but she's now healthy and shining! Despite a past that was less than ideal, Princess radiates sunshine and is a testament to resilience. She was found wandering near an elementary school, and though Animal Control was called due to concerns about a loose pitbull, her sweet demeanor suggests she would have been gentle with children. It's assumed she was overbred and then abandoned.
Ideal Home
Princess would thrive in a home where she is made to feel like the special princess she is. Her ideal family will be patient and willing to gently guide her as she transitions into her forever home. She enjoys company and is happy to peacefully hang around, making her a pleasant companion.
Ongoing Health
Princess has no known health concerns.
Training & Support
Princess is already crate-trained and keeps her kennel clean. While she may need some reinforcement to be fully house-trained, she is smart and aware, and with consistent structure, she will learn quickly. She knows commands like SIT, STAY, and DOWN. Princess has shown no signs of storm or separation anxiety, nor any behavioral issues. She walks well on a leash and is well-mannered in the car. She enjoys food and treats but isn't overly food-driven. Her prey drive is suspected to be average. Her only minor area for improvement is house-training, as she's a lady who sometimes forgets where to go!
