Maggie Flowers is a vibrant 6-year-old pittie mix, weighing around 50lbs, who approaches life with boundless enthusiasm and a contagious zest for adventure! Her foster parents lovingly call her their "ray of sunshine" because she finds immense joy in everything from a simple walk to chasing a ball or rolling in the grass. If you're seeking a dog who will inject fun and laughter into your daily life, Maggie is enthusiastically applying for the job!
Ideal Home
Maggie would thrive in an active home with a fenced yard, where she can fully embrace her playful spirit. She'd love a family who wants her to be an integral part of their everyday adventures, whether it's exploring the yard, playing fetch, or splashing in water. While she's lived with children as young as two and enjoys meeting new people, she can get a little overexcited and jump up for greetings. With continued consistency and training, she'll improve in this area. Due to her tendency to chase, Maggie would do best as the only pet in the home, as cats are too tempting for her to resist.
Ongoing Health
Maggie is a healthy girl who has received all her vetting.
Training & Support
Maggie is a smart cookie and already knows commands such as sit, down, wait, "go to your bed," and "in" for her crate. She is potty-trained, crate-trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She's also mastered wonderful manners like waiting at open doors until released. While she can ignore other dogs on walks if they aren't too close, she's happiest when she's the sole focus of her family's attention.
