Athena is a smart, affectionate girl who has come a long way in a short time. When she was rescued, she was very fearful, especially of men and new people. With patience and kindness, she’s learned how to relax and trust. Today, she’s a loving companion who adores belly rubs, toys, brushing, baths, and car rides. She’s fully housebroken and comfortable using a dog door. Athena is well-behaved in the home and eager to please, knowing basic commands. She can be reactive at first when people enter the home or yard, but she settles down quickly once she realizes they’re not a threat.

Ideal Home

Athena would do best in a calm home where she can be the only pet and given time to build trust.

Ongoing Health

Athena is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Athena would benefit from continued work with a trainer, especially around new people and other animals.
