Cassie is a 1-year-old, 5 lb Chi mix looking for her forever home! This tiny sweetheart is happiest when she's being held or snuggled up beside her favorite person on the couch. While she'll occasionally entertain herself with a toy, she's mostly content to curl up into the cutest little ball for a cozy nap. Cassie is a gentle, easygoing girl who is incredibly tolerant of handling. She doesn't mind being picked up, carried, or moved around, making her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving lap dog. She's also calm around other dogs, often choosing to quietly watch them pass by with curiosity rather than reacting. Cassie is mostly house trained and crate trained, sleeping peacefully in her crate at night when it's placed near her people. Like many dogs, Cassie isn't a fan of being left alone and may bark for a bit when left in her crate or separated in another room, but she does settle down with time and reassurance.
