Meet Cash! This adorable 5-year-old Corgi is looking for a new beginning and maybe a few extra snacks. Cash is a bit of a chunky monkey, weighing in at about 50 pounds, but he's got a heart full of love to share! He came to us after a difficult time when his beloved owner passed away. While he and the surviving husband didn't quite mesh, Cash has adapted wonderfully to rescue life and greets every day with his signature confidence, especially around meal times.
Cash's favorite pastimes include supervising kitchen activities, positioning himself for optimal snack visibility, and generally strutting through life with the self-assuredness of a dog who knows he's a star. He's recently embarked on a wellness journey, though he's not exactly thrilled about portion control! While the pounds might be slow to disappear, his undeniable charm is shining through. It's impossible not to smile when this delightful little guy waddles into the room. Beneath his extra fluff is a sweet soul ready for a fresh start. Cash is learning that change can be positive and that many good days are still ahead. He's looking for a family who will help him on his journey to a healthier weight while showering him with love. He might not be ready for a marathon, but he's definitely ready to find his forever home, and he's pretty sure sharing the couch is part of the deal!
