Layla is a sweet girl who needs a special kind of person to help her blossom. She came to us from a backyard breeder, and it's clear she hasn't had the easiest start. Layla is a bit shy and it takes her time to trust, but with patience and understanding, she's a loving companion. She absolutely adored her golden retriever friend from her previous home, so she has a soft spot for Goldens! Layla has a playful spirit and loves to romp and play, especially with other dogs. She also has a sensitive stomach that we are still working to understand.

Ideal Home

Layla needs a home with another dog, as she truly thrives with canine companionship. She would do best in a calm, quiet environment with a family who has experience with rescue dogs. A securely fenced yard is a must for her playful nature, and her family should be home more often than not, as she benefits from consistent presence and support. Due to her sensitive nature, Layla is not ideal for families with young children or first-time dog owners.

Ongoing Health

Layla has a sensitive stomach that we are still working to diagnose and manage.

Training & Support

Layla is still learning to trust and needs a patient family who can provide a gentle, slow approach. She can be nervous initially, so positive reinforcement and a consistent routine will be key to her success.
