About Sandy Sweet Babygirl

Meet Sandy, a delightful one-year-old Lab/Pit Bull mix with a striking silvery-gray coat and a smile that could win awards! Sandy is a devoted companion who truly wants to be the heart of her family. She thrives on being involved in all family activities, from quiet evenings to playtime. Sandy's foster family, which includes five children and a baby, can attest to her gentle and loving nature with kids. She has a special fondness for little ones and enjoys following them around, accepting treats, and being a part of every moment. Her curiosity and desire to be near her people mean she's always ready to check in and offer her presence.

Ideal Home

Sandy would do best in a home where her adopter can read her body language and respect her boundaries, helping her build confidence at her own pace. She appreciates quieter moments and can sometimes feel overwhelmed by excessive attention. A home with a yard would be wonderful, giving her space to play and explore. While she adores children and has proven to be wonderful with them, she is equally capable of forming deep bonds with adults and doesn't require children in her home.

Ongoing Health

Sandy is a healthy pup who has received all her necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Sandy is a smart girl who is highly food-motivated and eager to learn. She is already crate-trained and travels well in the car. Her foster family has noted that she sometimes feels unsure with new people or direct attention, so an adopter who can help her navigate new experiences with patience and understanding will be key to her continued success.
