Nesta

Nesta is a 3-year-old, 50-pound Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with a heart full of love to give! She was found with her family living under an abandoned house and was rescued by our team. Now fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, Nesta is ready to trade her past struggles for a future filled with joy and security. She's a sweet, slightly shy girl who blossoms with patience and understanding. Once she trusts you, she's a playful bestie with adorable puppy-dog eyes that will melt your heart.

Ideal Home

Nesta would thrive in a home with an experienced, patient adopter who understands shy or sensitive dogs. She needs a calm, structured environment with a consistent routine. A backyard for playing would be wonderful, as she can be hesitant on leash. She needs older children who can respect her boundaries and would prefer a home without cats.

Ongoing Health

Nesta is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

Nesta is fully potty and crate trained and will only go potty outside. She is crated when her foster mom is away and can also be left to free-roam for short periods. While she walks on a leash, she is hesitant and timid. She is smart and already knows "sit," picking up new cues quickly. She can be easily spooked by loud or sudden noises and needs slow, gentle introductions.

Transporation

Nesta is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. Due to border patrol restrictions, adopters will be required to cross the border and meet in Blaine, WA to receive Nesta. She is eligible for transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.
