Meet Kipster, a 41-pound pup with a big personality and a love for adventure! Kipster is a smart and independent boy who enjoys being outdoors as much as possible. He's great with kids and some dogs, but he does have a strong opinion about sharing his food and prefers to have his space. He's also described as a "door dasher" who loves to explore, so a secure and tall fenced yard is a must for this energetic guy. Kipster's foster mom says he's calmed down a lot and is starting to listen better, and he would thrive in an active home with someone who loves the outdoors. Kipster was born on September 11, 2019, and is ready to be your hiking partner and loyal sidekick.
Ideal Home
Kipster would thrive in an active home with someone who loves the outdoors. A tall, secure fenced yard is required, as he is an athletic climber and can escape chain-link fences. Invisible fences are not accepted. Homes with other dogs or cats are up to the discretion of the adoption team.
Ongoing Health
Kipster is eligible for a "Senior Dog Adoption Reimbursement Program" where the rescue will offer a maximum of $300 per year for the life of the animal to cover wellness exams, annual vaccinations (including Bordetella), and heartworm prevention. Adopters are responsible for taking the animal to their veterinarian for all services and submitting receipts for reimbursement.
