Meet Icy ❄️ – Your Loyal Little Shadow

Icy is a 7-year-old sweetheart who is the definition of calm, devoted companionship. She’s a low-energy girl who’s happiest curled up at your feet while you work, relax, or binge your favorite shows. She’s what we lovingly call a “shadow dog”—wherever you go, she’s just inches behind, quietly keeping you company. Icy is incredibly snuggly and enjoys nice daily walks. She's a perfect work-from-home companion, is dog-friendly, and can be cat-friendly with dog-savvy cats (she may try to play/chase occasionally). She is fully house-trained and likely good with kids of all ages with proper introductions. Icy doesn't ask for much—just your presence. She thrives on closeness and will happily spend her days snoozing at your feet, occasionally looking up just to make sure you’re still there.

Ideal Home

Icy would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can be close to her person as much as possible. A work-from-home setup or someone home often would be her dream. She’s not looking for adventure—she’s looking for you.

Ongoing Health

Icy has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and will need insulin every 12 hours with her meals. She’s been doing great with her routine, and with a committed adopter, this will simply become part of daily life.

Training & Support

Icy is working on crate training. While she doesn’t try to escape, being left alone in a crate isn’t her favorite—she’ll let you know with some singing and crying. Because of this, she’d do best in a home where someone is around most of the time or where she doesn’t need to be crated regularly.
