Meet Tux Fancy Pants the worlds most dashing gentleman in a built-in tuxedo!

With his shiny black coat, floppy ears, and that big ol smile that could melt a glacier, Tux is the perfect blend of handsome, goofy, and heart-meltingly sweet. Hes about a year and a half old, a Lab/Pitty mix (our best rescue guess!), and basically a walking ray of sunshine wrapped in fur.

Tux is a lover, not a fighter hes happiest when hes near his people and getting as many cuddles, belly rubs, and compliments as possible. Hes a total snuggle bug who thinks being close to you is the best thing ever. Youll often find him leaning his whole body against you for pets or flopping onto his back with his paws in the air, just begging for tummy scratches.

He currently lives with two other big dogs, and hes doing great! Tux likes calm, friendly dogs who have good manners and can show him the ropes. Hed be thrilled to have a chill canine buddy to hang with especially one who loves to play and romp around the yard with him. Hes not really the dog-park party type, but hes definitely a bestie brunch in the backyard kind of guy.

Tux has also met cats and done well hes polite, curious, and mostly interested in minding his own business. We think hed do great with dog-savvy cats who dont mind a little nose boop now and then.

Kids? He loves them! His goofy, gentle personality makes him a hit with the little ones hes sweet, patient, and always up for some family fun. Hes the kind of pup whod be the star of every playdate and the MVP of movie nights.

Tux is working on his leash skills hes a sensitive soul who prefers open spaces over city sidewalks. Because of that, hes hoping for a home with a fenced yard where he can stretch those long legs, do his silly zoomies, and roll around in the grass like the big happy boy he is. Apartments arent really his thing hes more of a country club in the suburbs kind of guy.

Inside the house, Tux is pure gold. Hes potty trained, sleeps through the night, and has the best manners once hes settled in. His foster says hes affectionate, hilarious, and just a total sweetheart the kind of dog who makes your heart feel full every single day.

Tuxs dream home would have patient, loving humans who think a little goofiness makes life better (because hes full of it!), maybe another friendly dog, and definitely a comfy couch for snuggling.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travel safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page!

Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience!

The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dogs growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!

We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gapranging from $100$1,000+ per dog.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
