Taj

Taj, a nearly seven-month-old male Canaan Dog mix, is a true testament to resilience and joy. Found bravely dragging his hind legs at just 13 weeks old in southern Jordan, his paralysis was determined to be congenital. While euthanasia was suggested, his loving rescuers saw a future filled with happiness, and Taj has proven them right! He cannot use his back legs and requires assistance with expressing his urine and stool, but this has in no way diminished his playful, affectionate, and curious spirit. Taj has a natural charm that makes everyone smile and doesn't let his condition define him. He is wonderful with dogs, cats, and children, and he's neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, ready for his forever home.

Taj would thrive with a loving family who believes in second chances and can appreciate the brave, bright soul behind his shining eyes. He is already accustomed to living with dogs, cats, and children, so a home that can provide these positive interactions would be ideal.
