GUS (Sweet Boy, Loves Kids and his Human, Kind, Good with Dogs)

Meet Gus, a handsome Black and Tan Coonhound mix with a heart as big as his soft, floppy ears! This sweet boy is about 1.5 years old and weighs 61 pounds. Gus is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his shots. He was unfortunately left behind in a rural area by his former humans, but he hasn't let that dim his joyful spirit. Gus loves generously, trusts easily, and greets each new day as a fresh adventure. He's learning that life is about more than just "performing" and is embracing the simple joys like basking in the sunshine and exploring the world with his incredible nose.

Ideal Home

Gus would love an active home where he can be your adventure partner for camping, hiking, or fishing. After a day of exploring, he's happy to curl up inside in a big, comfy bed. He does wonderfully with other dogs and is great with kids.

Gus is neutered, microchipped, and current on his shots.

Training & Support

Gus is house-trained and crate-trained. While cats are still a question mark, he's learning more every day and making progress. He loves squeaky toys!
