Estimated to be around 3 months old and weighing 22 pounds, Spruce Lee Penelope might be a Labrador/Shepherd mix, but as a rescue, his exact breed and age are our best guess. What we are certain of is that this handsome little guy is ready for a home filled with lots of love and affection! He's currently in a loving foster home, enjoying family life and showing off his playful puppy energy combined with a sweet-natured affection. His gentle soul shines through in every puppy pounce and prance, and his adorable spots and wagging tail are sure to capture your heart. He even offers up his freckled belly for frequent rubs!

Spruce Lee needs a home that can provide a ridiculous assortment of soft stuffies for chewing and playing. He thrives on affection and enjoys being around people. He wants to be part of a family and will offer plenty of puppy kisses, tail wags, and unconditional love in return.

Training & Support

Spruce Lee is inquisitive and adventurous, as most puppies are, and has started responding to voice corrections, which bodes well for his future training. He will benefit from continued guidance, positive reinforcement, and puppy training as he grows. His foster home has been working with him on various training aspects to prepare him for his forever family.

Transporation

Spruce Lee is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
