About Bonnie

Bonnie is a 5-year-old, 60-pound Lab/Pittie mix with a heart of gold and a love for naps. She was found as a stray with her friend Clyde and after months of being cared for, she's now ready to find her forever home! Bonnie has a low energy level, preferring to lounge on the couch or sunbathe in the grass. She'll engage in a short play session with a ball, but her true passion is relaxation. Bonnie is dog and cat-friendly, currently living harmoniously with multiple dogs and cats in her foster home. While she hasn't lived with children, she would likely do well with older, respectful children. Bonnie is shy when meeting new people and needs a patient approach to warm up. She is fully potty trained, happily uses her crate as a safe space, and never whines when crated.

Ideal Home

Bonnie would thrive in a home that is quiet and patient. She would absolutely love to have another dog in the home, especially a female companion, as she is more comfortable around them. While she has shown a developing comfort with the male dog in her foster home, she would need a patient male figure in her new home if not adopted with Clyde.

Ongoing Health

Bonnie is up-to-date on all vaccinations and is spayed. No ongoing health concerns have been noted.

Training & Support

Bonnie is fully potty trained and crate trained. She is a shy girl who needs time to warm up to new people. With patience and understanding, she will blossom into a loving and devoted companion who enjoys following you around and greeting you with a wagging tail and excited jumps.
