Duncan is the sweetest little boy, approximately 1 year old and weighing in at 19 lbs! His DNA shows him to be a delightful mix of breeds, with a lot of Chihuahua charm! He absolutely loves to play with his squeaky toys and soak up all the petting and attention you can give him. Duncan is a quiet, well-behaved companion who seems to be pretty house-trained and does pretty well on a leash, though a little more training would be beneficial. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs!

Ideal Home

Duncan would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of attention. He is not suited for homes with children under the age of 8.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested positive for heartworms when he was rescued. He has been treated according to The American Heartworm Society protocols and typically tests negative within 4 to 6 months. He is up-to-date on all vaccinations and monthly preventatives.

Training & Support

Duncan is described as pretty well house-trained and does fairly well on a leash, but he would benefit from some additional training to further polish these skills.
