Bud

Bud is a small, mostly tan boy with white on his chest and a black mask. He's a happy and playful puppy, born on 4/27/2026, and is one of nine adorable babies rescued from a pregnant abandoned dog named Maya. Bud is currently available for pre-adoption, meaning he still has a few vet appointments to complete his puppy vaccines and get neutered. You can adopt him now, but you will need to take him to our vet in Somerville for his remaining appointments.

Ideal Home

Bud requires a fenced yard for his safety and happiness. We do not accept invisible fences.

Ongoing Health

Bud will need to complete his puppy vaccine series and be neutered. We will cover these costs if the procedures are done at our veterinarian in Somerville. His adoption fee includes a 30-day pet health guarantee for local adoptions.

Training & Support

As a young puppy, Bud will benefit from continued training and socialization to help him grow into a well-adjusted dog.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• A fenced yard is required and will be inspected during a home visit.
• A veterinary reference is required, confirming previous pets were up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. If you don't have a history, you'll need to purchase a 3-month supply of heartworm prevention.
• If you rent, you'll need to provide verification from your landlord regarding pet policies and any associated fees.
• A meet and greet with any current pets in the home is necessary to ensure compatibility.
