Polly is a sweet 2-year-old Shiba Inu who weighs about 20 lbs. She's a former breeder dog who is now retired and ready to find her forever family. Polly may be a little shy when you first meet her, but once she settles in, she'll be all about the snuggles and pets! She's great with cats, kids, and other dogs and loves to play fetch. Polly is crate trained and doggy door trained, and while her leash skills need a little work, she's not bad at all.
Ideal Home
A fenced-in yard is recommended for Polly due to her breed. Please ensure any upcoming vacations are out of the way before applying to adopt.
Ongoing Health
Polly has been spayed, tested heartworm negative, and is up-to-date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She's also had her rabies and parvo/distemper vaccinations and a dental procedure with extractions. All of her vet paperwork will come with her.
Training & Support
Polly is house-trained and doggy door trained. She's also crate trained. Her leash skills need a bit more practice.
