Patty

Hi, I'm Patty! I'm a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy who would love someone to take me for long walks, cuddle with me, and show me around. I can be shy and timid at first, but I warm up quickly once I know what's expected. My foster mom loves my heart-shaped nose and my short little tail. I'm missing part of my tail, but don't worry, I'm not missing any personality! I'm from Texas, and it's pretty chilly up here, so I love to snuggle up in a blanket next to my people. I sleep in my kennel at night and am very quiet. I'm working on potty training and doing well with frequent potty breaks, but I'll need someone to continue teaching me to be polite and how to walk nicely on a leash. I love treats and want to do the right thing, so I hope you can teach me! As a puppy, I love to play with toys, especially bones and chew toys. My foster mom throws balls for me, but I make her go get them. She tells me it's not polite to jump, but I'm still learning! I've been around people of all ages, even smaller ones, and I love everyone! I do jump up to say hello, but with guidance, I can learn to greet people politely. I've met a cat who seems to like me, and I think we'll be friends. I've also met some big dogs, and I learn from them and take their lead. I know when they want to stop playing, and I find a toy instead. I like to run and chase them around the yard, and they seem to enjoy playing with me too. I'm looking for someone who can see past my timidness and recognize that I'm an amazing pup!

Ideal Home

Someone who will continue to teach me manners, take me on walks, and cuddle with me. I love people of all ages and have been doing well with cats and other dogs.

Training & Support

I am working on potty training and learning to walk on a leash. I also need to learn not to jump up when greeting people. I respond well to treats and positive reinforcement.
