Taco

Taco is a senior Chihuahua weighing just 6.5 pounds, but his heart is much bigger than his size suggests. He adores everyone he meets—even if he puts on a tough “guard dog” act when spotting people through the fence. Once up close, his nonstop tail wags and sweet personality give him away. Taco loves handing out puppy kisses, even though his puppy days are long behind him. He and his brother, Budda, came into our care after their beloved momma passed away. There is still so much love left in this little old man. Taco would be happiest curled up in someone’s lap, soaking up affection and companionship. If you’re looking for a devoted lap buddy—or two—Taco is ready to fill your home with love.

Ideal Home

Older kiddos familiar with small dogs are recommended, as very young children are not recommended due to his small size. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats and has a gentle, social nature. He would especially love to head to his forever home with his brother, Budda.

Ongoing Health

Taco has been neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and is current on monthly prevention. He is microchipped with lifetime registration.
