Rocky is the most magical, loving, appreciative, devoted dog you will ever meet. He has lost some weight and is now on a feeding schedule, as you can see in his latest photo. His previous owners were considering euthanasia due to his weight and inability to use stairs, but with a little weight management, this fella is doing so much better! He loves snuggles, bully sticks, and simply being near your feet while you work. Rocky can manage short walks but not long ones due to arthritis. He is house-trained and will go outside to do his business. If you love dogs but don't have a lot of energy for walks or playtime, Rocky is the dog for you! Come rub his belly at Wet Nose Rescue; one belly rub and he will love you with his whole heart! As a Wet Nose Rescue volunteer, Rocky is my personal favorite, and I'm sponsoring $50 of his fee, making it $100 instead of $150.
Ideal Home
Rocky is looking for a home where he can be cherished. He does not get along with cats. He also does not do well with men wearing hats and glasses for some reason.
Ongoing Health
Rocky has arthritis, which limits his ability to go for long walks. He is currently on a weight management feeding schedule. All our pets are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption, all of which is included in the adoption fee.
Training & Support
Rocky is house-trained. Remember, it takes a minimum of 3 days for an adopted pet to decompress and an average of months for them to truly settle into their new home.
