Meet Bodhi!
Bodhi is a sweet, energetic 1.5-year-old Tibetan Spaniel mix, weighing about 13 lbs. He's a playful guy with a heart full of potential, looking for a patient family to help him build confidence and show him how wonderful life as a beloved family member can be. Bodhi is intelligent, loyal, and forms strong bonds once he trusts you. He can be a bit hesitant with new people, needing time to observe before warm up, but once he does, his affectionate and fun-loving personality shines through.
Ideal Home
Bodhi would thrive in a home with another confident canine companion to help him navigate new situations and provide reassurance. He needs a securely fenced physical yard for exercise and exploration, as he is not comfortable on a leash and will not do well with an invisible fence or tether. Due to his sensitive nature, an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy children who understand giving him space is recommended.
Ongoing Health
Bodhi is current on Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies vaccinations, and has been dewormed. He tested negative for heartworm and is receiving heartworm and flea prevention. He is microchipped and scheduled for neuter surgery on 6/30.
Training & Support
Bodhi has not had any leash training and is not comfortable walking on a leash. Continued positive reinforcement and patience will be key as he builds confidence. His sensitive nature means he needs a predictable routine and a safe space to relax.
