Meet Marco, a wonderful companion who is as affectionate as he is playful. He's a well-behaved boy with a knack for making friends, and his positive attitude shines through in everything he does. Marco is already crate-trained and a pro at potty training, making him a fantastic addition to any home.
Despite a challenging beginning, Marco's spirit is unbroken, and he greets the world with a joyful smile and an abundance of love. His resilience is truly heartwarming, and he’s eager to share his affection with his forever family.
Marco knows basic commands like sit, down, and stay, and he’s a good walker on leash. We’re continuing to help him build confidence around distractions, especially other people and dogs.
Marco is currently in a foster situation where he interacts with other dogs but prefers his own space. While he's not aggressive, he's happiest as the only pet in the home, politely indicating when he'd rather not interact with other dogs. He has met many adults and is wonderful with them. Though he hasn't been around children in his current foster setting, his gentle nature suggests he would likely do well in a household with kids, and we recommend a home with children ages 10 and up.
Marco is a lower-energy dog who would be content in either a house or an apartment. He loves his daily walks and is happy to accompany you on leisurely strolls. He is not a chewer or a digger and is perfectly happy in his crate, showing no signs of destructive behavior. Marco is the kind of dog who will thrive in a loving environment where he can truly relax and be himself. He has been waiting patiently for almost two years for his forever home or a foster family, and it’s time for this sweet boy to find a place where he can receive all the love and attention he deserves.
