A little about them
If there was ever a dog who deserved a fresh start, it’s Bindi. This sweet 10-year-old, 14-pound Pug came to rescue after being surrendered to a county shelter and is now feeling so much better with proper care. She’s a devoted cuddle bug who loves being close to her people, is very food motivated, and enjoys a cozy, easygoing lifestyle.
Ideal Home
Bindi does well with other dogs, especially calm pups who enjoy naps, leisurely strolls, and relaxing together. She would thrive with someone experienced with senior dogs who can give her the comfortable, loving retirement she deserves. She is listed as doing well with children under 8.
Ongoing Health
Bindi’s kennel cough has resolved. She arrived with severe, long-standing ear infections and significant dental disease requiring multiple extractions. She has some weakness in her back legs and walks with a slight hunch, but she is not in pain and takes daily joint supplements. She also has a benign fatty lipoma on her back that does not require treatment. Her coat is making a wonderful comeback, and she is eating well.
Training & Support
Bindi enjoys getting around at her own pace and is happiest somewhere cozy with the people she loves. Treats are a great way to encourage her extra spring in her step.
