BEAR

Bear is a 5-year-old dog who can be a bit reserved when you first meet him, but with a little time and gentle encouragement, he blossoms into a playful and fun companion! Our volunteers have seen him really enjoy lively play, especially with other dogs, where he loves to wrestle and engage in spirited games. Bear is a wonderful dog looking for his forever home and deserves a second chance.

Ideal Home

Bear enjoys energetic play, so a home with another dog who enjoys similar rough-and-tumble fun would be ideal for him to truly thrive.

Ongoing Health

Bear is currently heartworm positive and will require treatment. We are happy to discuss the treatment plan and any associated costs with you.

Training & Support

Bear is still learning and can be a bit shy initially. Patience and positive reinforcement will go a long way in helping him feel secure and confident in his new home.

Bear is currently located at the Dallas Animal Services & Adoption Center at 1818 N. Westmoreland, Dallas, TX 75212. We can discuss transportation options with approved adopters.
