RITCHEY ROO (aka RICHARD)

Ritchey Roo, estimated to be 5-6 years old, is a wonderfully exuberant dog with a heart full of love to give. He’s a happy boy who enjoys lounging around but also has bursts of playful energy. Ritchey adores his people and wants nothing more than to be by your side, whether you're inside or out. He's house-trained and can entertain himself when you're not around, making him a great companion.

Ideal Home

A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for Ritchey to safely explore and run around. He’d prefer to be the only spoiled pup in the household, as he’s not a fan of other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Ritchey came to us underweight, and while he’s gained some weight, he could benefit from a diet and increased physical activity.

Training & Support

Ritchey can be a bit jumpy and excitable, especially when food or a leash is involved, so he'll need continued leash training as he can be a strong puller. He's learned the "OVER" command to create personal space in bed, showing he's capable of learning new things. He doesn't seem interested in toys or fetch.
