Hi there! My name is Ariel and I'm a 7-month-old female Husky/Retriever mix, eager for a new home!
Every princess deserves a happily ever after, and Ariel is ready to find hers. Just like the princess she's named after, she's discovering that there's a whole world beyond what she's always known. Ariel came to us after her person faced unexpected housing challenges and could no longer keep her. In her previous home, she didn't have many opportunities to meet new people or other dogs, so new experiences can be a little overwhelming at first. With a little patience, you'll quickly see her sweet, affectionate personality shine through. One place that Ariel truly sparkles in is playgroup! She has a loose, wiggly play style that makes other dogs want to be her BFF. She's learning that making friends is pretty magical, and her confidence continues to grow every day. This princess is also crate trained and has already been introduced to walking on a treadmill, where she happily trots along like she's training for her next adventure. With her young age and eager-to-learn attitude, she's ready to continue building confidence while learning all sorts of new skills.

Ideal Home
Ariel can be a little overwhelmed with new experiences and people, so a patient and understanding home is key. She absolutely thrives in playgroup and loves making new dog friends!
Ongoing Health
Ariel will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before going to her new home. She will also come with a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic.
Training & Support
Ariel is crate trained and has been introduced to treadmill walking. She is eager to learn and will continue to build confidence with new skills in her forever home.

- Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays.
- No appointment is needed for adoptions.
Transporation
Ariel is currently at the Santa Barbara Campus and can be transported to other campuses if needed.
