Roxie is the perfect mix of cuddle bug and social butterfly. This sweet 41 lb Boston Terrier mix, estimated to be born around January 29, 2025, absolutely loves snuggling on the couch and will happily curl up beside you no matter where you are. Her adorable little snores during nap time are guaranteed to make you smile. Roxie is a smart girl who already knows "kennel" like a pro and has an impressive recall. She is currently working hard on mastering "sit," "stay," and "down." Roxie recently attended an adoption event and completely stole the show, soaking up every bit of attention and handling the excitement beautifully, even with live music, crowds, and lots of new friends. She especially loved meeting children and made fast friends everywhere she went. Roxie’s story started off heartbreaking; she survived for months as a stray, cold, hungry, and alone, but those days are behind her now. She is happy, healthy, loved, and ready to finally find the forever family she has always deserved. She does well with other dogs and is curious but respectful around kitty friends.

Roxie has shown to be great with children and other animals, so she would likely be a wonderful addition to a variety of households.

Training & Support
Roxie is kennel and potty trained. She is also eager to learn, and with continued positive reinforcement, she will master new commands quickly.

Transporation
Roxie is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee. Pickup locations may vary, including to a nearby town, county, or state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. Adopters can track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are also available for tracking updates.
