Dottie

Dottie is a 4-year-old, 62-pound bundle of joy looking for her forever home! This sweet girl is a loyal companion with a goofy personality that's sure to bring laughter and love into your life. Dottie adores playing with rope toys and stuffies, and she's always up for a game of tug-of-war. When she's not playing, she's happiest cuddling up by your side. She's intelligent and food-motivated, making her a quick learner when it comes to training.

Ideal Home

Dottie would thrive in a moderately active home that can provide at least one good walk or play session a day. She does best with one or two calm, big dogs or could be the only pet in the home to soak up all your attention. She is also cat-friendly and lives with them happily in her foster home. Dottie would do best in a home without young males or boys, as she appears to have had a negative experience with them in the past. She is wonderful with women of all ages.

Ongoing Health

Dottie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Dottie is fully potty trained and crate trained, though she's also comfortable free-roaming. She walks well on a leash, though she may pull and bark if she sees another dog. She can get overstimulated in large groups of dogs but settles well on her own when left to free roam.

Dottie is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is available for virtual meet & greets. She is eligible for transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.
