- An adoption application must be completed and approved before meeting puppies under 4 months old.
- If you live more than 1.5 hours away, you can complete an application by phone. Calls are returned within 48 hours.

- Pet Owners: Vet records for all current pets.
- Homeowners: Proof of home ownership (property tax or mortgage document). Utility bills are not accepted.
- Renters: Landlord's phone number and a copy of your lease. We must speak with your landlord.
- Valid ID (you must be 21+ to adopt).
- Dog Owners: If you currently have dogs, a meet-and-greet with Trident is required after your application is approved.
