Farley

Meet Farley, a handsome neutered male Beagle mix born around January 2019. This 31-pound pup is a true sweetheart when it comes to people and loves receiving one-on-one attention. Farley enjoys leisurely walks on a harness and leash, especially if they lead to a fun swim in the water!

Ideal Home

Farley would be happiest in a home where he can be the only dog and would do best without cats. He would absolutely love a securely fenced backyard where he can safely run and play. Due to his past experiences, Farley cannot go to dog parks and will likely never be a dog that can be around other dogs, especially when on leash.

Ongoing Health

Farley endured a difficult past, having spent most of his life on a chain and suffering severe injuries to his neck from an animal attack.

Training & Support

Farley is reactive towards other dogs when on leash due to his history. While he walks well on a leash and harness, he needs a home that understands his need to avoid dog encounters. He thrives on individual attention and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement and understanding.
