Sandy is a quiet and affectionate girl who takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once she does, she'll become your most loyal best friend. She shows her love with subtle leans and tiny steps closer to you. Sandy has an abundance of love to share and is ready to give it all to her forever family.

Ideal Home

Sandy thrives in a home with at least one other dog, as canine companionship helps build her confidence. A secure, fenced yard is a must for her to safely explore as she settles in. Due to her skittishness around sudden movements, she would do best in a home with older, respectful children who can give her the space she needs to feel secure.

Ongoing Health

Sandy is fully vetted, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also undergone a heartworm test.

Training & Support

Sandy is fully crate trained and completely potty trained. She is a calm and easy-going walker, remaining non-reactive to common distractions. While not highly treat-motivated, she can't resist Colby Jack cheese. She is incredibly quiet and rarely barks. Her ideal family will be patient and supportive as she continues to build confidence and adjust to her new surroundings.

Transportation

Sandy is located in the Greater Houston area, Texas. Transport is available for adopters outside of Texas, with a surcharge. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
