Chip

Chip is a mixed Cairn and Jack Russell Terrier who is 9 years old and full of life! He's a wonderful cuddler who adores being petted and will happily snuggle up on any available lap. Chip loves spending time outdoors, his favorite pastime is watching from the patio door for any interesting movement. He has a keen interest in chipmunks and squirrels, happily chasing them around the yard and up trees with his impressive bark. He also enjoys running along the front lawn, seemingly greeting or warning passersby. Chip is known to be great with children of all ages and does not nip or bite humans. He is generally good with other animals, though he will vocalize with a growl if he feels the need to assert himself. Recently, Chip has begun "marking" indoors, possibly to establish his place within the household.

Ideal Home

A home with a securely fenced yard where Chip can safely explore and run is essential. Because Chip has a tendency to run through electric fences into the street, a more robust containment solution will be necessary to ensure his safety and the safety of others.

Ongoing Health

Chip is up to date on all his shots and has a lifetime license.

Training & Support

Chip is crate trained. He has recently started "marking" indoors and may benefit from continued house training reinforcement.
