Mocha is a stunning black and tan hound mix puppy with a bright mind and an even brighter personality. This girl loves being with people and thrives on human connection, whether that's learning new things, cuddling close, or simply hanging out by your side. She's very intelligent and already knows "sit," "down," and "come" (especially when treats are involved!). Like most puppies, Mocha is food-motivated, which actually makes her a great candidate for continued training and learning new skills. Mocha prefers to enjoy her toys on her own, so she does best when given toys in her crate or during solo time. With clear boundaries and structure, she does wonderfully. She is already potty trained and sleeps in the bed with her foster, where she happily settles in for the night. Her foster family absolutely adores her and can't stop raving about how amazing she is, and they're not exaggerating. Add in her super soft fur, and you've got a puppy who's just as wonderful to cuddle as she is to keep training!
Ideal Home
Mocha thrives on human connection and needs a home where she can get plenty of attention. She prefers to enjoy her toys on her own, so she does best with toys in her crate or during solo time.
Ongoing Health
Mocha's adoption fee includes her spay/neuter surgery, deworming, vet exam, and up-to-date vaccines. She will also be microchipped. Puppies are eligible for 10% off the rest of their vaccination series at Crossroads Animal Hospital.
Training & Support

- You can access the adoption application on our website, www.crossroadsanimalrescue.org, or download and email it to crossroadsanimalrescuesc@gmail.com.
- We will approve your application, and then we can set up a time for you to meet one or more of our pets.
- You can pay the adoption fee and officially adopt after meeting your new family member.
- You can also complete the adoption over the phone before meeting your new pet, which will secure the pet for you. Please note the adoption fee is non-refundable if you change your mind after adopting over the phone.
Transporation
Mocha is currently located at Crossroads Animal Hospital. Out-of-state and international adoptions are welcome, but transportation for the adopted pet is the responsibility of the new pet owner.
