Moonpie is believed to be a cattle dog mix, approximately 1 year old and weighing 34 lbs.

Moonpie would do best in a home without cats, as she finds them a little too interesting and engaging.

Moonpie is a healthy girl. All vetting is up to date, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable.
Training & Support
Moonpie is a smart and treat-motivated girl who already knows some basic commands like "sit." She is easy to walk on a leash, and is crate and potty trained. Her quiet demeanor and great house manners make her an excellent companion for those working from home. She's also an eager adventure buddy, happy to explore wherever you go.

Transporation
Moonpie is currently located in the Greater Houston area, Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA certified transport system. Transport drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
