Homer

Homer is a handsome 4-year-old, 55lb pit bull mix who came to us because his previous owner moved out of state. He has been with his former owner for 4 years and was given to them. Homer is a great dog who is friendly with kids and other dogs, and he is leash-trained, house-trained, and potty-trained. He does have some separation anxiety and can only be left alone for about 4 hours. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations, with the exception of a rabies shot, which will be administered before adoption.

Ideal Home

Homer would do best in a home where he won't be left alone for extended periods due to his separation anxiety.

Ongoing Health

Homer is neutered and up to date on vaccinations, but he will need a rabies shot before he can go to his new home.

Training & Support

Homer is house-trained, potty-trained, and leash-trained. He is still working on his separation anxiety and would benefit from a patient and understanding family.
