Journey

Journey is a handsome, sweet, and smart three-and-a-half-year-old neutered male husky with striking black and white markings. Weighing between 45-50 lbs, this adventurous boy was famously rescued during a hurricane in Houston, where he impressively swam to safety before being caught. He's been enjoying the good life in a foster home for the past year and a half, and he's ready to find his forever family. Journey gets along well with most medium to large female and male dogs, though he has a preference for avoiding other red huskies. He would be a fantastic companion for school-aged children, a couple, or a single person who will include him in their daily life and adventures.

Ideal Home

Journey would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can run and play. He is not suited for apartment living.

Ongoing Health

Journey is up-to-date on all his vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and is on monthly preventative medications. He has also been neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

Journey knows his basic commands but is not yet trained for off-leash activities. He loves car rides and is a water enthusiast.
