Meet Walker!

Walker is a happy, resilient pup whose spirit couldn’t be broken—even after spending months in a small, rural shelter. Now thriving in a foster home, he’s showing just how loving, playful, and loyal he can be. This friendly boy has shown nothing but love and playfulness toward everyone he meets and is ready to bring endless joy to his forever home. When he’s tired, he lets out the funniest groans and stretches—it’s guaranteed to make you smile.

Ideal Home

Walker would love a fenced yard where he can zoom around and would thrive with an active dog sibling to play with. Due to his high-pitched bark, apartment living isn’t ideal. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is very kid-friendly. Walker is also cat-friendly, though he can play a bit rough.

Training & Support

Walker is crate trained at night and is working on his house training, using puppy pads when available. He loves a good game of fetch. He’s still learning how to walk politely on a leash—he tends to get excited and pull or go the wrong direction. With continued guidance, he’ll get the hang of it! Walker is very food- and treat-motivated, which makes training a breeze. He’s still learning proper play behavior, especially with the cat in his foster home.
