Sassy

Meet Sassy, a tiny 5–6 pound Chihuahua who has already experienced more than most dogs in a lifetime, and now she’s ready for the happy ending she deserves. When she first came to rescue, she was pregnant and required a C-section to safely deliver her puppies. Thankfully, she recovered beautifully and proved to be a wonderful mom. Now that her puppies are weaned and thriving, it’s finally her turn to be spoiled and loved. Despite everything she’s been through, she is one of the sweetest, gentlest little dogs you’ll ever meet. She adores affection and is happiest curled up in your arms, often drifting off to sleep while being held. There never seems to be enough cuddles in her world, and she’s always ready for more. She enjoys being close to her person and will often quietly follow you from room to room, but she’s not demanding or clingy about it. She’s content to simply be nearby, keeping you company throughout the day. She gets along nicely with other dogs and integrates easily into a pack, but she’s not overly interested in socializing or playing. She’s perfectly happy doing her own thing and has a patient, easygoing nature that allows her to coexist comfortably with other dogs without drama. If you’re looking for a loving, low-key companion who wants nothing more than a warm lap, a soft bed, and a family to call her own, this sweet little survivor may be exactly the dog you’ve been waiting for.
