Buddy (CHIC - Stud ONLY, Not for sale at this time)

Buddy is an almost 5-year-old Golden Retriever with a gentle and handsome demeanor, ready to be a stud for approved females. He's incredibly loving with his family and children, embodying the classic Golden Retriever affection. Buddy has a distinguished, blocky head and European lineage that could be a fantastic outcross for American breeding programs looking to improve structure and lower Coefficient of Inbreeding.

Ideal Home

Buddy is available for live cover/natural breeding to approved females who have negative Brucellosis testing. For national shipping, fresh-chilled semen can be collected and shipped overnight anywhere in the US by a local reproductive veterinarian.

Ongoing Health

Buddy has undergone extensive and verified health testing. He is fully CHIC certified with OFA "Excellent" hips, and is also clear for elbows, cardiac, and eyes. He is clear on all genetic markers, though he is a carrier for Ichthyosis (ICT). To ensure healthy litters, any visiting females must provide DNA testing proving they are ICT clear (non-carriers) before breeding. Buddy is very healthy with no other known health issues, except for an intolerance to Seresto Collars.

Training & Support

Buddy is an experienced and proven stud with an exceptional fertility record, having sired 10 litters totaling 84 puppies (an average of 8.4 per litter). He consistently produces large, robust, and healthy litters.
