Rocky’s story started with heartbreak, but he is so ready for his happy ending. He was surrendered to a crowded Houston shelter alongside his best friend—a senior, blind dog. While his friend was saved by a rescue, Rocky was left behind. Through no fault of his own, he found himself on the euthanasia list simply due to a lack of space. We knew this incredible boy deserved a second chance, and now he is ready to find a family that will love him forever.
His Personality
Rocky is the definition of a "good boy." He is extremely kind, well-behaved, and gentle. He is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with all dogs. Whether he’s hanging out with canine buddies or relaxing with his humans, Rocky is just happy to be included.
Oh, and did we mention his signature move? Rocky loves to give paw! He will happily sit and offer you his paw to show his affection or to politely ask for some extra head scratches.
