I'm Pepper, and I've got a whole lot of pep and love to offer my forever family! I might look tough at first glance, but once you meet me, you'll see I'm really just a sweet girl who loves people, fresh air, and a good adventure. I'm also full-grown at 44 lbs. I'm a young, energetic female pit bull whose family was sadly unable to keep up with her needs after welcoming a new baby. I'm friendly, affectionate, and eager to be part of a home where I can get the attention, exercise, and structure I thrive on. I'm gorgeous with a black shiny coat and white accents!
I do well on leash and absolutely love being outside – rolling in the grass, exploring, and happily chewing on sticks. I'm working on house training and continue to improve. I'm also a great, quiet car rider and settle well for trips, so I could be your road trip adventure girl. Inside the home, I'm generally quiet unless something outside catches my attention. I have a high energy level and would do best with an active family who can give me plenty of outlets for play and adventure. After a good day of activity, I'm more than happy to settle in close with my people for some cozy, cuddly downtime.
Ideal Home
I enjoy people of all ages and get along well with other dogs. I also seem to be okay with cats I've been around, but a proper cat test would be done to make sure. My ideal home would include older children who can safely enjoy playing and running with me, along with space for me to stretch my legs and just be a happy, loved dog. A big, fenced backyard would be great but not required.
Ongoing Health
I am spayed, microchipped, and current on all my shots.
