JOME

Jome is a sweet 6-8 month old, 38lb male Formosan Mountain Dog mix with a beautiful brown coat. Despite a rough start in life, he remains trusting, smart, and loving. He can be a little shy when he first meets new people or enters a new environment, but he warms up quickly and shows a mature demeanor for his age. He enjoys his foster home and is eagerly awaiting a forever family to call his own. Jome is learning to walk well on a leash, is crate trained, and is doing great with house training. He's also a good traveler and can be patient while his foster mom runs errands.

Ideal Home

Jome would thrive in a home that is both quiet and active. He is friendly with strangers, good with children of all ages, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and cats.

Ongoing Health

Jome has been throughly vetted. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his puppy vaccinations. He has also tested negative for heartworm and has been dewormed and is on monthly heartworm preventative. He received his Bravecto on 05/01/2026.

Training & Support

Jome is already doing well with leash training, crate training, and house training. He has shown no signs of food aggression towards people or other dogs, and has never bitten anyone.
