Meet Axel Rose! This handsome 26lb Basenji/Terrier mix, born around April 5, 2024, is looking for his forever family. Axel is a friendly and affectionate dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loves to play with other dogs of all sizes and enjoys meeting new canine friends. Axel communicates his desire for attention with happy barks that quickly turn into tail wags and affection once you acknowledge him. He is potty and kennel trained and enjoys relaxing by the window as much as he loves a good zoomie in the backyard. Axel's journey began when he was found abandoned, but despite his past, he remains incredibly loving and trusting, eager to find a family who will cherish him.

Ideal Home

Axel enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with canine companions. We can test him with cats for interested adopters.

Ongoing Health

Axel Rose is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Axel is still working on his leash manners and would benefit from a family willing to help him continue building confidence on walks.

Transporation

Axel is located in Houston, TX, and transport is included in the adoption fee. We coordinate with multiple transport services to various Eastern, Western, and neighboring states. You will be able to track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates.
